Iron Jacket Challenge
The 2008 Iron Jacket Challenge was basically like a Strongman competition that you would see on ESPN. It was an obstacle course set up with different events. Each player had to run through it as fast as they could without getting penalties. The fastest three times for each group won. A fast runner however does not have the upper hand you may think he would as weights are also involved in the competition.
Here is how the competition was run:
Run through mini hurdles
Agility ladder
Flip a huge tractor tire 4 times
Farmer walk ( carry 70 pound dumbbells in each hand and walk down and back to a cone 15yds away.)
Jump over 4 big hurdles
Throw eight 15 pound medicine balls over the goal post
Bear crawl under the Lineman screen (big square screen that Lineman use for drills)
Pull a 100 pound sled for 15yds
Jump in a huge huge tractor tire and jump out
Push a one-man dummy sled 15yds
Lift 3 soda kegs (1 at a time) and put them on a table 10 yards away
10 pushups and sprint to the finish line and tackle a dummy.
